I recently moved into the area and was looking for somewhere local to sort out an ear wax problem. It was easy to book an appointment online and, upon arrival, the staff were friendly and polite. I was seen by Rachel, who was very professional and fully explained the procedure. She kept me informed of progress as she went along and was helpful in answering my questions, following the appointment. I have been using the pharmacy for the past year, since moving to the area. I arranged for ear wax removal & was seen by Rachel. The care I received was excellent & Rachel was very professional. I had both ears treated, which took a couple of visits. I found the staff both knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Been trying to call them to book a private flu jab as, even though there appears to be the option online you can't do it. No option to speak to anyone when you call so I went in while passing to try and make an appointment. Was told in a very unfriendly manner that I had to book online.I explained that this didn't work and was then told I had to walk in and make an appointment- I pointed out this was what I was trying to do. I said I work from home so can come anytime/any day but this was met with "they're too busy all next week" and could I wait 30 minutes and they could do it now. I had my two grandchildren with me so this wasn't an option. I was told to go in the same day a full week later in the morning and they would do it. I honestly felt like my wanting to book a jab, that I have to pay for, was an inconvenience. I've since booked an appointment online at another local pharmacy and will go here instead as I think I'll end up being told they can't do it on the day. Went here today after booking an ear wax removal yesterday. Everything was fine, got to my appointment early and the lady on the desk said the ear wax person wouldn’t be long… to be told 10 minutes later they can’t do it as they’re booked up all afternoon with Covid vaccines!! Drove 40 minutes to the appointment for literally no reason - could’ve called (had my number on the booking) or at the very least told me they couldn’t do it when I first arrived! Very unhappy with the service and treatment we received, do not recommend them at all. Will be telling family and friends who live round there to boycott entirely!!!!
